Ingredients

– 4 Kinder Bueno bars, chopped

– 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled

– 1 package (8 oz) mascarpone cheese

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1/2 cup powdered sugar

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 pack ladyfingers (savoiardi biscuits)

– Cocoa powder, for dusting

– Chocolate shavings or extra chopped Kinder Bueno for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and thick.

2. In a shallow dish, pour the cooled brewed coffee.

3. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee, ensuring they are moist but not soggy.

4. Layer the dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of a serving dish.

5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.

6. Scatter half of the chopped Kinder Bueno over the mascarpone layer.

7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and chopped Kinder Bueno.

8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.

9. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings or more chopped Kinder Bueno.

Notes

– For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso or add a splash of coffee liqueur.

– You can substitute the mascarpone with cream cheese for a lighter version.

– This dessert can be made a day ahead to allow the flavors to develop.
