A moist and sweet cake made with condensed milk, offering a rich flavor and tender texture that’s perfect for dessert occasions.

 

Ingredients

– 1can sweetened condensed milk(14oz)

– 1/2cup unsalted butter, softened

– 1cup all-purpose flour

– 1tsp baking powder

– 4eggs

– 1/2cup whole milk

– 1tsp vanilla extract

– Powdered sugar(for dusting, optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F(175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

2. In a large bowl, lightly beat the eggs.

3. Add the softened butter and mix until well combined.

4. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk.

5. Sift together the all-purpose flour and baking powder, then gently fold into the egg mixture.

6. Add whole milk and vanilla extract, stirring until the batter is smooth.

7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

8. Bake for 30-35minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

10. Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.

 

Notes

– Avoid overmixing the batter to keep the cake light and tender.

– Can be served warm or at room temperature.

– For a citrus twist, try adding a teaspoon of lemon zest to the batter.
